Joey’s Story

Before finding Ascension Chiropractic, we struggled with infertility for years. We tried different doctors, surgeries, medicines, supplements, acupuncture – the list goes on and on. We were told we would never be able to get pregnant naturally, and we had to do IVF. While we did have a successful IVF pregnancy, we held onto the knowledge that our bodies are created to heal, we just needed to find the right people and place to get us there. When we walked into Ascension, we were instantly filled with hope again. After so many failed attempts at healing, hope was restored, and we were ready to expect a miracle. After receiving one week of adjustments, we got pregnant naturally.

Joey, our daughter, was part of the reason we explored neurologically based chiropractic; she was born with hip dysplasia. We went to Children’s Mercy where they started her in a Pavlik Harness. Getting the harness placed on Joey was one of the worst experiences because she did not tolerate it well. She was inconsolable during the whole appointment, and it took multiple doctors to get the harness secured. We were told she would be in the brace for 8 to 12 weeks. Around the 10-week mark, there was no progression in the healing process. The doctors then decided to switch her to the Rhino Brace…yet another challenge. Six months later, her hip was no closer to being healed.

We found a functional doctor that introduced supplements for Joey, which finally began the healing process; however, we were also told that she needed consistent chiropractic care. I instantly knew we needed to go to Ascension Chiropractic. Joey’s original scans showed that we had been working at great length on her nervous system – it just wasn’t fully where we wanted it. We continued her journey and after her scans significantly improved with consistent care, her mood also improved along with her speech. Her hip was a visible need, and once we saw the scans, we knew that chiropractic care was going to offer her so much more support than just for her hip. Ascension Chiropractic has helped Joey to talk more, be able to handle change well and she is overall happier and even healthier!

Baby Archer’s Story

He’s pooping regularly, has so much less reflux and spit up, and the constant crying and discomfort we were used to? It’s almost completely gone. Essie’s Story

Essie arrived lethargic, struggling to control her emotions, having frequent meltdowns and outbursts. She was in pain from constipation and had chronic ear infections that caused significant hearing loss.

Today, she is healthy and happy!

Meltdowns are now very rare and when they do happen, Essie recovers quickly. She’s been regular with bowel movements and hasn’t been constipated at all since beginning care (over two years with Ascension Chiropractic)

Best of all — she can HEAR! Her parents expected tubes might be needed, but Essie can now hear a whisper from across the room.

Remi’s Story

When Remi first came to us, she was struggling with 3 ear infections in just 5 weeks. Her family had been down the tubes road before and really wanted another option after hearing that chiropractic care could help her ears and sinuses finally drain the way they were meant to.

Fast forward to now and this girl is THRIVING! Since starting care, she’s been able to avoid tubes and she’s only had ONE ear infection in 14 months!
