What to Expect

Day One

Upon arriving, you will be warmly welcomed into our inviting space and given a brief tour to help you feel at home.

Please bring only the child (or adult) for whom the visit is scheduled. This initial visit will include an initial assessment and comprehensive diagnostic scanning using our advanced INSiGHT™ scans, which provide an in-depth look at your child’s nervous system function. These noninvasive scans are a critical part of our process, helping us pinpoint the root causes of any health concerns.

Day Two

At your second visit, you’ll have a one-on-one consultation with our doctor team to review the scan results, discuss specific care recommendations, and collaboratively outline a plan to support your child’s health goals. We’ll also answer any questions you may have.

We encourage one or both parents to attend this visit without the child.

This dedicated time will ensure that you fully understand your child’s care plan and feel confident moving forward.”

Care Plan

Day One and Day Two encompass the first two steps of our clinical process. STEP THREE (occurs on Day Two) is figuring out an exact, customized Care Plan that fits your child’s specific needs. This is where Ascension’s clinical care truly stands apart, having trained extensively with the world’s TOP leading pediatric chiropractors — The Pediatric Experience.

The Ascension care planning system blends together your child’s unique case history (traumas, toxins, illnesses, etc) along with our neurological exam and INSiGHT Scan findings. This allows us to determine the exact frequency and duration of care your child requires.

Everything is fully personalized and customized to your child—no “one size fits all” or cookie-cutter approach like you may find in traditional healthcare.

Report of Findings (happens on Day Two)

STEP FOUR is sitting down with your Ascension doctor during the Report of Findings visit. During this time, we review the INSiGHT Scan results, exam findings, and your child’s personalized care plan. Every question and concern is thoroughly addressed.

This is an exciting step for families, as it gives them a clear action plan to get their child’s health and healing back on track!

Adjustments

STEP FIVE is when your child begins their adjustments, which are gentle, safe and effective. These adjustments begin relieving tension and stress from your child’s nervous system right away.

While many parents are understandably nervous about starting something new, they’re quickly reassured once they see how gentle and calming chiropractic care is at Ascension. Our pediatric, neurologically focused chiropractic team ensures a welcoming experience filled with laughter, relaxation, better sleep and powerful healing.

How long do new patient visits take?

Please allow 45-60 minutes for each of your first two visits to ensure we have ample time for scanning, consultation, and open discussion.

Do you accept insurance?

Insurance places significant restrictions on customized care and does not cover prevention for children without injury. Operating outside of insurance actually allows us to tailor your care even more specifically to the patient’s needs, optimizing results and long-lasting health.
